GAME DAY
GAME DAY
This is what it’s like to love baseball, together, in America’s Finest City.
As host, journalist, and creative director of the original Game Day series, I set out to explore the soul of baseball in San Diego. Not through stats or highlights, but through the people, neighborhoods, and moments that give the game its meaning.
We traveled community by community—surfing in Carlsbad, sharing pizza in East Village, capturing Opening Day at Petco Park, and stepping into purpose-built spaces like Joe Musgrove’s new gym in Mira Mesa. Every episode revealed something bigger: that baseball, at its best, is a mirror of who we are and what we care about.
From local leaders and changemakers to generational fans and future athletes, the conversations were intimate, unexpected, and deeply human.
Whether through community, mentorship, family, or innovation—these are the games worth playing.
This was never just about baseball.
It was about the culture being shaped between innings—and the people doing the shaping.
